Welcome to our website.  We are please to provide you with information about the Freedom Institute, our mission and goals, and the kinds of programs we support.

We try to bring to our audience different perspectives about a number of issues that affect the health, education, and welfare of African Americans in particular and all people in general.  We know that no city or nation is isolated from another one and what happens in one city or nation can have a profound affect on another.  We bring together people from all backgrounds who share a common ideal about improving the lives of others and working collaboratively with other groups to that end.

We thank our many supporters, volunteers, and staff who help make the Freedom Institute a viable organization in our community.
